about us
Stacks Post House is a family owned post production company. We specialize in long form documentary storytelling and partner with production companies, businesses, and agencies to deliver commercial and corporate video content.
Based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan, Stacks has over 15 years of experience in post production work. Grant McClure started Stacks in 2022, after working in film production for over 15 years. A year later he was joined by his brother, Cole, and sister, Kayce, to help expand our reach and better serve our clients.
Growing up, we watched our dad build houses from the ground up. He was a framer and, like magic, an empty lot would transform into a beautiful home.
Like building a house, we stack layers on top of layers, moving blocks of video and audio around on a timeline, ultimately creating something beautiful. We make it from the ground up and love every minute of it.
We work to create films that are meaningful and impactful. Let’s collect all of the parts and pieces to your story and stack them one by one until we create something magical.

Grant McClure
Grant is the owner and senior editor at Stacks Post House. In 2011 he finished school at Rochester University and has a degree in video production from Specs Howard. Since then, he has over 15 years of experience in the video industry producing, directing, and all things post production. When he's not busy making dreams come true editing behind a computer screen he loves spending time with his lovely wife of 13 years, Cami, and their 6 beautiful children. As a video producer, good editors are extremely hard to find. The ones who intuitively understand storytelling and can ‘feel’ the edit and deliver a V1 that’s accurate and close to done - those are the editors you want on your project. Grant and his team are one of those rare finds. Having worked with Grant for nearly a decade, he’s still my first call when I need an editor that I don’t have to worry about.
